Team FCNJ at World Famous Watkins Glen - Ferrari Challenge NA Round 4

We have just returned from a successful week at the historic Watkins Glen International race track and the Ferrari Challenge North America along with Team Ferrari of Central New Jersey – Racing with Ferrari!

Racing with us this season at Watkins Glen in the 296 Challenge Car:

Michael Mathes in car 5 Trofeo Pirelli AM

Roger Monteforte in car 101 Coppa Shell AM

Jeffrey Nunberg in car 141 Coppa Shell AM

Osvaldo Gaio in car 193 Coppa Shell

This past weeks racing was exciting and successful for our team:

Race 1 Coppa Shell AM

After his great win in Montreal, Roger Monteforte qualified 2nd. Roger had an awesome and passed Bubble the pole sitter at the start and maintained control of the pace and race and finished in First Place.

Race 2 Coppa Shell AM

Roger Monteforte had another spectacular race and finished in first place and is leading the points race for Champion in Coppa Shell AM.

Race 1 Coppa Shell

Osvaldo Gaio was the winner of the Gentlemen’s Cup in Coppa Shell race 1. Osvaldo is currently in 2nd place in the overall rankings for the Gentlemen’s cup.
